Two tests for different markers
The parahealth diagnostics vitamin D and iron-status tests answer separate screening questions. They are not a combined vitamin and mineral panel. Select the marker you need to check and review the exact kit's instructions before taking a sample.
Vitamin D: a semi-quantitative result
The vitamin D rapid test screens 25-hydroxyvitamin D, also written as 25(OH)D, in fingertip blood. Interpretation uses the color card supplied with that kit. The result is semi-quantitative rather than an exact laboratory concentration. Use the matching card and the specified reading window.
Iron-status screening
The iron-status product is described as a ferritin self-test using fingertip blood. Check the package for its precise intended use and result interpretation. It is different from a laboratory iron profile and does not determine the cause of symptoms or a treatment dose.
Compare included collection components, storage conditions and expiry on the actual kit. For the wider marker-based range, see health screening and metabolism tests; for the brand portfolio, browse parahealth diagnostics.
